This week is Maori Language Week. On Monday we had the Kahurangi group come to visit our school. They performed a maori legend called 'Hatu Patu and the Bird Woman' they also used string 'whai' to show us a different myth. The men had Taiaha. Some boys from our school got to get on stage and have a turn. It was awesome!
